Default Where to ice fish this weekend???

I'd like to get out once or twice more before the end of the season...

I still haven't hit any of the lakes on the Kenai this year. Anything worth trying (...this late in the season)?

    Ice conditions?

Fished Finger Lake by Palmer a few week ends ago. Caught a ton of small fish. Biggest might have been 10". The kids had a great time. We used shrimp and salmon eggs about 30' off one of the islands. Ice was 2' thick, not sure what shape it will be in now.

Actuallly, I just fished Finger Lake today....there's still *TONS* of those little landlocked salmon around. I must have caught 25-30 on garlic eggs. They were biting just below the ice...about 2-3 feet below the hole. No real size to them. The biggest was maybe 10''.

Ice is still very thick...at least 2' thick in most places.

    Default Long Lake

Long Lake today saw fish, never pulled one up. Easy 4ft. of ice, drove out.
