Default Any new info on the 20A cow moose changes

Anyone get any wind of official changes to the 20A Cow Moose hunt in the rex corridor?

    Default 20A antlerless hunt

You should contact Don Young, at the Fairbanks Fish and Game Office, for any official word on the changes, but the short story is that the Board of Game considered the hunt at the recent meeting and reauthorized an antlerless hunt in GMU 20A, however there are major changes in the hunt. First, there will only be approximately 200 antlerless moose taken (instead of 600), and the zones where they will be authorized to be taken in will be greatly reduced--basically, only in the middle of Zone 2, a piece of the southern reaches of Zone 4, and the southern part of Zone 5. The particular take in each zone, and the seasons, will be set by F & G.
