    Default A time to kill

Does anyone else feel it's been to long since you killed a duck?

The season is so, so, so, short here in the interior every year seems as for ever. I think they should double the limit to make up for the short season!

I'm out of ducks and geese. But I have plenty of moose, halibut and salmon to hold me over.

It has been way to long. Plus I have buying all of my new gear the past few months to get ready for next season. So I have to wait another 6 months to use it. Plus a new shotgun, which I am itching to duck hunt hunt with.

    ERRRGGG 6 months to go.

Oh well, it gets me time to get my dog trained up.

    Default spring geese

IN North Dakota? Really? There is a spring season or are you just toying with us? I have never hunted Snow Geese. Sure looks like a good time.

There is a management season for light geese in the midwest. No plugs, electronic calls and a 20+ limit depending on the state are all legal! Shoot 'em up

There is not much I enjoyed more than spring snowgeese in Sodak or Nodak. I love being in AK, but March makes a guy miss South Dakota quite a bit. There is really not much comparable to being under a flock of 20,000+ geese. Spring snows are something everyone who loves waterfowling should do in their lives. One of those things you can't explain, and have to experience. Not to mention the season is after small game closes and before turkey. Both of these pics were in March, different years. Used to burn up a lot of gas in a month and a half.

Yep, but season opens in 25 days, and as warm as it is today I'm scanning the horizon for birds already.
