Default Warne QR rings for Ruger 77

Has anyone used the Warne quick disconnect rings specifically made for the Ruger 77 Integral bases? How would you rate them?

I've used them for about 2 yrs now on my MKII 338, I was a little suspect at 1st because the lug that locks them in place is way smaller than on the Ruger rings. After 2 yrs of hard use, taking my scope off & on, I trust them completley.

I've heard that a company named Meier Gunworks makes a lever kit so you can convert the Ruger rings to quick release. Midway is suppose to carry them, but I could never find them on their web page. Something to think about, I think the kit is around 30, compared to 80? for the Warne QR.

You got a link to these Warnes? I didn't know Warne made quick releases for the M77.

I use them on my 375 Ruger and they work great. Look on the cabelas website to see if they still have any on clearance ($40.00 -should have bought them all). If my other Rugers had open sights they would have them on them as well.

I have them on a .338 WinMag and a .450 Marlin built on a 77 and have had no problems. I usually pull the scope off the rifles for travel and they've always gone right back on with no loss of zero.
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps! (Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945)
