    Default Alaskan Adventure

(NOT to be confused with Alaskan Marine Adventures... )

Anyone have any experience with these folks? http://www.alaskanadventuretours.com/Caribou/index.html
(Remember, this is the land of "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"...! I'm just researching for now, so I'll take no comment to be a bad thing....)

    TIA!

Yeah, I'm getting the idea that the first Google result for "Adak caribou hunting" needs to be added to my "NOT-plans-A-B-or-C" list.

Let me turn the question around a bit: Is there anyone guiding on Adak that anyone CAN recommend for a 'bou hunt in September?

I'm not looking for a "rich man's big game safari"... no "tourist trips." There are 4-6 of us here in Juneau who have just realized that we can get to Adak for 15,000 AK Air miles... I'd like to put some meat in my freezer, and we don't really have room for a big trophy in my house anyway! We'd be happy to cook and clean and be good house-guests if anyone out there had couch space too. (It was pointed out to me that I sort of butchered (not in a good way) our last moose, so we've agreed to bring along a guide to help out this time too...)

    Thanks for the feedback.

According to the state his license expired Dec. 31st as did his business. Might just be a lapse.

Like Momma always used to say, "If you can't say anything nice, send a PM."
