Moose float, almost free!
Now that I have your attention,
I will be float hunting for moose this year using Inland Aviation near Aniak.
I AM IN NEED OF A PARTNER!
I have posted on other sites, zilch, and many of my friends simply cannot make it this year.
The hunt is a fair price. I am looking for 1 or 2 hardy folks looking for adventure.
For information, please message me, or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sorry about the whole 'almost free' thing.
Cant help you with a partner but Im curious what your doing to ship your meat. Who your using - how much it's gonna cost. I am going out with Inland this year as well. I have gotten some ball park figures, and a couple options but just wondering how you plan on doing it.
Ya caught me sleeping...
I spoke to both Steve and Tom at Inland. I also spoke to the fella at Alaska Downstream-very friendly! Also spoke with some folks on this board.
Inland can keep the meat cold until it ships to Anchorage where I intend to have it picked up by Indian Valley. I intend to have the cape and antlers sent to the Taxidermist who will send me the antlers and tan the cape and send it on. I do not intend to keep all of the meat, but a lot of it.
Actual prices, I do not know. I do have time to find this out, but I have not yet done so.
I am still frantically looking for a partner-only 7 months to go!!!!
I am glad you brought that up, Good luck to you. Also I am sending you a pm.
Check out your inbox for response.
Very interested but need some details, how long and when and a ball park cost.
Where are you located?
Jeff in Eagle River 382-7392
I guess I didn't send a PM. Before coffee.
Give me a call if interested.
I'm interested, but would need more specifics as to costs and when and what your plans are. I live in Eagle River, am in reasonably decent shape, and plenty of gear. I've done a trip out of Aniak once before, but it was not float hunting. Sounds like it might be fun. PM me if you havn't already found somebody.
I'll try you tomorrow night.
