Question Montague Deer Hunting in March?

How is the deer hunting on Montague in March? Is there any action down there this time of year? Lookin' for something to do on spring break '09 (March 7-14). Thinking about flying with Natron to Montague and renting a cabin. Is it worth it? Anyone ever hunted PWS islands this time of year?

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Default no go

I believe the season closes in December.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

Good luck. Just don't tell anyone you're deer hunting that time of year.

My first bit of advice would be to not go deer hunting in March on Montague... but hey, that's just me... and the regs.

Oops. Should have looked at the regs first. Guess I'm stlll looking for something to do in March. Guess I could hunt black bears that won't be there because there are brown bears there that I can't hunt either. Guess I wouldn't have much company out there though.

Tim, get out the predator call and get to it...
Great time of year for coyotes and probably wolves-- if the regs jive <grin>
