    Smile Spanking new twins!

Well, sorta. I just recently become the proud new pa to a Marlin 1895 LTD V 45-70...satisified and happy, but then lo and behold, another 1895 LTV IV 45-70 came along that I was then "forced" to accept, so I had to take on the additional responsibilities. I guess that two isn't any more trouble than one, right? I'll have a real dilemna if I, II & III comes up. Ciao.
If you like getting kicked by a mule...then you'll "love" shooting my .458.

Get too many of them, and you'll be tempted to do a little rebarreling here and there like I do.

Any round based on the basic 45-70 case comes to mind. I've got a .429 wildcat that's dandy (call it a 444 Marlin on steroids), and next I'm thinking about either a 38-56 or a 50-70. I've got an original 1886 Winnie in 38-56 that I'm a little reluctant to give much field time, fine caliber tho it is. Rebarreling a Marlin would let me do that.
