Hello all.

I've been reading the forum for the last 6 months trying to learn as much as I can to get ready for our trip. Already put some advice to good use.

There are 4 of us heading up Friday Night. We will be spending 3 days sea kayaking in Northwestern Fjord out of Seward, one day fishing Silvers out of Seward, One guided day on the rivers around Soldotna, 2 days on our own around Soldotna (or elsewhere?), and then wrapping it up with an overnight Halibut charter out of Homer.

Anyone have any last minute advice on what we should bring, leave home, etc. We are planning on buying either coolers or wax boxes and bringing our catch home as checked luggage. If we have to we will ship our bulking waders/camping stuff/fishing poles so we can bring our fish with us.

The one specific question I have is on rod cases. Any experiences good/bad by anyone with airlines damaging rods?

Thanks
