Default Minimum Barrel Length for Hunting?

Does Alaska have a minimum barrel length for hunting with a handgun?

I've never seen one in the regulations or statues.

I have been searching and been unable to find a restriction, but I know that in many states they are common so I had to ask.

My reason for asking is somewhat trivial perhaps, but if a bear is taken in a dlp scenario by someone with a tag using a short barreled Ruger Alaskan type wheel gun, can the hide be legally retained by affixing the tag or does the barrel length negate the "hunt," thus the requirment to surrender the hide as a dlp?

What is the states disposition towards claiming a dlp as a hunt (obviously impossible to prove absent a "hey I had to shoot a bear so I stuck my tag on it "post here?)

Also as a close up target of opportunity scenario for other game.
