    Default Ammo help

I just purchased a new Tikka T3-lite- .270 winchester, I debated long and hard about the wsm but went with the straight winchester in the end. I am curious about what factory ammo you all have had success with, including grain. I have always used Fed. Premium nos part (150 and 180 gr.) in my .06, but I'm not married to it. The rifle will be primarily used for deer, sheep, and possibly goat (haven't decided on that one yet!) Thanks ahead of time for any input...

Federal Premium with 150 Nosler Partition is what I have used in the past. Of the 19 moose I have taken only 3 of them were one shot kills. One of those being with the Federal 150 Nosler load in 270 Winchester.

i used winchester 130gr ballistic silver tips and the worked perfect to a tee,i then tried winchester xp3 150gr and the shot all over the place.it could of been my gun only liking 130gr so i stuck with them, best thing to do is try some different weight grain and see what the gun likes to shoot.
