    Talking My Ram Picks

Here are a couple picks form the ram I got in August. He is my first, and regardless if I get another one, he will always be my favorite.

A big thanks to all who helped me on this hunt, especially Perry who went way out of his way to put me up at his place, and countless other people who put up with my endless rookie questions!

Someday, God willing, I will be back for another aventure in the great state of Alaska!

    Falcon,
Great ram and I am sure a great experience! One that you will never forget. Like you, some day I would like to go back too. But, oh will that be a spendy trip with probably the whole State a draw by then!
So you should be very happy that you've got yours!
    Congratulations.

    Default time

I agree that it is normally at least a year to get a mount back.

The guy who did the work does it on the side for fun, but he is pretty good at what hew does. He recently sold 23 mule deer heads to Cabelas for their new store openings across the country. It's nice to know a guy in the business !

    Waterrat:

That thing is a monster ram. How about a short story and some more picks?

Bone: Be sure to post your ram when you get it back ! I never get tired at looking at these awesome animals.

    Default The same draimage

The bugger was living in the crags of a deadend bowl with no way to get above or behind him. The yr we (Martin White) killed this guy we were on the 9th day of a 10 day hunt when he obviousls made a fatal error in his ways.
Here's another that didn't get away but caused me to work up a sweat!
