    Default Grizzly reverse limiter...H e l p!

Has anyone disabled the reverse limiter on their grizzly?
I have an '05 660 and although it has an "overide" button, it does little to help the sputtering when I'm trying to cover some ground in reverse--usually when plowing.
The bike still sputters and coughs due to the limiter.

Can anyone tell me how to disable the system all together?

    Thanks in advance!

    Frank

ALL Yamahas are worthless in reverse unless you do the reverse over ride mod.(This includes all you guys driving 07s and 08s also) That override button is only for disingaging another limiter when both diffs are locked and doesn't disingage the reverse limiter.

The grizzly guru "Grizzhopper" has a section on doing the over ride mod on his website:

Yup, do what grizhopper spells out. I have an 02 Griz and did the mod on mine years ago. Works great.
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and donít have one, youíll probably never need one again
