    Default Food Grade plastic buckets

    Hey Folks,

Do you know of a place in Anchorage where I can purchase "food grade" and FDA approved, high-density polyethylene 5 gallon buckets?

I wish to store rice and beans and such. I have picked up a couple of pickle buckets from my favorite eatery, but I need six more. Both Freddy's and the anti-Christ sell buckets, but when I called the manufacturers, they stated that their buckets are not approved for food storage. Something to do with the recycled materials they use and how they can't 100% control what goes into them.

    Thanks

I get my food grade bucket's from a local Baker............Stop by your local Bakery and talk to the manager about setting some aside for you, you may have to give them a scrubbing.
