    Default Tire Sealant

I have a slow leak from my mud lites around the inside of the rim. Does anyone think the tire sealant thing will help out?

Don't waste your time with the inflate a can tire sealant. Those have never worked for me. But what has worked for me is Slime. I had a slow leak on both rear tires. I deflated both and filled each up with a bottle of slime. PRESTO the leak was gone. It even plugged an old nail hole that I had.

Highlifter sells a tire sealant that I hear is the best of the best. It uses come kind of special gas with kevlar peices. Its suppose to plug a hole 1/4" thick if I remember right.

From what I hear Slime causes some horrible nightmares if you ever remove the tire from the rim. Messy to say the least.

Thanks Gremlin... I'll try the slime. Hopefully I'll never have to worry about taking the tire off.
