    Default Next stop: Alaska

    Hi everyone,

My friend and I are "trying" to plan a trip to visit my cousin in Alaska^^ I love cold weather camping, and I have always wanted to build a snow cave and rough it for awhile in the wilderness.
I'm sure a bunch of you have done this before and I was hoping for some feedback, maybe a website or two that would get me in the right direction. Good campsites, gears, and personal experiences =D Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris B.

I would reccomend reading the book "Snow Sense". If you plan on spending any time in the backcountry.

If you narrow down what it is exactly you want to do, what time of year you are talking about, folks will have a better idea what sort of suggestions will help. Good Luck
