Hey powder hounds, now the time to break out the sleds! Now we have a total or over 25" of snow with 11" of it this week. Temps are 18 during the day and about 10 a night. Nancy Lake State Park is open. But do keep a eye open, there has been a little overflow on the lakes because of the snow weight. The K-300 dog sled race will be coming through the area on Sat. So watch out for the dog teams! All the main trails have been groomed, but they are soft pack so they will bump up quick with all the hot rodders!
Next weekend starts the Willow State Winter Carnival. Great fun for the whole family. Don't forget maps are avalable at local stores and in Eagle River at Eagle River Polaris Arctic Cat!
By the way the rivers are in good shape and the dog sled race people are putting in lots of trails. So go explore some of southcentrals great trails and views!
So from Winter Park Cabins and the Willow Trail Comm.
Get out and kill some snow flakes
