    Default Nimmie Caribou

Anyone have any info on the Nimmie river area in Unit 23 for Caribou hunting. Would like to go into that area around the 20th of Sept? Would this be a good time or too late?

How is this Black Bear hunting in this are too?

    Much Appreciated

    Steveo:

The caribou can be great if you time it, no black bear as far as I know but the griz population is high. I have sent a few groups up into the Nimmi over the past few years and all have come back with mongo caribou. It is a pricy trip at about 1.5 hours but it is a great investment if you want to get away from the other groups and be in the early or late migration, good choice. Shoot me a PM if you need anything else.
