    Default Potter Marsh Sunset

Today while wadding through the snow in pursuit of a young bull moose I was able to capture todays sunset from the middle of Potter Marsh.

    Default What The???

    What The?

I just looked at this image on the computer at work and this image looks like Crude! I'm seeing lots of junk in the darker areas of the image.

    Any hints to why?

Looks fine to me. In fact, I like it.

Perhaps a non-calibrated LCD monitor? Some of those make images look odd.

is the crude like little black dots or like black water smudges???
if its littles black dots then your sensor needs cleaned but if its black water smudges then its condensed moisture. in any case sensor needs cleaned.

Thanks Buck for the feedback. I know the sensor is is clean. I had just cleaned it with the visible dust brush and swabs. and just checked it again ...all good.

I guess the only way to really see it is to turn your monitors brightness up and it will really show in the darker areas. It looks more like noise. My monitor at home is calibrated unlike the work monitor, so it seems to only show up on the later.

    Thanks again!
