Sorry to hear of the loss. The fishermen were heading to Homer, from Kodiak, in a small plane. There were problems, and it crashed into the water. All the best to their families. Prayers go to the survivors as well, and to the rescue folks too..

    Default Tough article...

I know exactly where they fell and it was hard news. Life is short for some of us, yet many of us continue on.

My hearfelt wishes to family and friends...

Deepest regrets for the loss and heartfelt condolences and prayers to the families.
I know the area as well having spent many long hours manning the weather station on the field.

    Default Prayers for All

Myself and family send our deepest heartfelt prayers to the love ones of the 6 lost and those who survived. Flying is a way of life in Alaska, It's not without risk and at times their is reward. I have flown on that plane many, many times down to Old Harbor. All will be missed

Grace and Peace to the family and friends who lost their loved ones.
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and donít have one, youíll probably never need one again
