Default Route to flathorn and figure eight lakes

Hello guys, Im looking for info on the best way to pick up the trail and get to the lakes. Is it marked very well?
Its easy to find on my gps but I dont think the park service would take kindly to me bushwhacking in to the lakes.

    Regards,

    Jim

I'm not sure about figure 8, but we cross Flathorn when we go out the gas line trail from Pt. Mckenzie. Turn right at the stop sign where the pavement ends. Go toward the Little su landing and you will find a winter parking lot near the gas substation at the end of the straight stretch. The trail starts at the end of the straight stretch and continues West.

There are several trails that will take you out there, but the gas line is probably one of the easiest to find.
