Lightbulb O.D.D. Group Buy, H.H. "New Camo" Impertech, 2008

H.H. will be coming out with two different patterns of camo Impertech that will be in their 2008 catalog, which comes out next summer.

Since the Impertech is so popular, would there be sufficient interest and volume for a group buy for this? We would be able to have it before next hunting season. I am sure that I am not alone in preferring camo when possible.

Feel free to chime in with your thoughts. We also would need a volunteer to "get her done". We will also need an H.H. dealer who would be willing to work with us, as H.H. will not deal direct.

Happy New Year to all, thanks for your attention.

Well, looks like we now have a dealer, who will work with us. That only took 20 minutes.

Now all we need is some buyers would want to stay dry...

    Zero,

What camouflage patterns are we talking about? Do you have a link or photos? Also, who is the dealer you are working through?

    M.S.:

I have no further info' at this time, as H.H. will not release anything further till the '08 catalog comes out next summer.

I tried to get info' on the camo, no go. I also have no pricing information.

The dealer who contacted me is a member here and if he wants to handle this , I am sure he will chime in. So I will leave that to him. For now, I am just trying to get a head count to gauge interest in this.

I am thinking that around June the catalog will be out, we can verify availability of the items needed (no backorder / backlog) , open the buy for 2-4 from around mid June to no later than mid July, have the stuff in guys hands no later than late July, in time for hunting season. That is my plan.

Do we have any interest in this? Or is everyone going to buy Kool Dry ($165)?

I might be interested in getting in on this.

As for a volunteer to run it, I suggest someone other than Josh (BucknRut). The guy has already given many, many hours of his time putting together the previous two group buys, so he deserves a break.

Hahahah, uh the thought crossed my mind already. He does have the most experience doing this, you know.

Don't everyone volunteer at the same time, you might crash the web site. I know how much work is involved, I have not forgotten yet.

If no one else steps up, I might handle it, as my camo Impertech has seen it's last hunt. It should not even have gone on the last one.

    Default 3/4 length

How about seeing if we can talk them into making a run of the 3/4 length parkas again? That is something I would get a couple of.

I'd be interested depending on the pattern and price.
