Default Olin purchase of Winchester - date?

I have a bunch of Winchester 30 M2 .30-06 ammo apparerently made under contract for the Dominican republic at an unknown date. The labels are mared WRA, Div. of Olin Industries (1947-48) but I thought Olin bougnt WRA much later than that. Perhaps my memory is a bit fuzzy?

Basicaly I'm trying to determine the earliest date of manufacture and if this stuff is corrosive or non-corrosive.

    Default Olin buy-out of Winchester

I finally found my Winchester book that covers the bankruptcy and sale of Winchester to Western / Olin in the early 30s. I had forgotten that part of the history of Winchester.

Look like this stuff may be corrosive. I'll try in a old Springfiled with a rough bore and see what happens. If its corrisive I can always pull the bullets, re-prime with NC primers, and replace the bullets. Or I could just clean the bore with hot soapy water after I shoot it.

Does any can any experience with this ammo?
