Hmmm.........will this be the demise of the Marlin lever gun as we have known it?? I sure hope not.
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps! (Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945)

So that makes Remington, Dpms, Bushmaster, Marlin, H&R, New England Arms, and LC Smith all under 1 corp. This could be good or bad...

Not good news at all. The parent company is loosing Money in the car market. NEF sells some great guns, but they under cut remington sales based on price. I can see marlin sticking around because of its lever action guns, but not NEF. Unless remington wants to start making them in turkey, like their other single shot guns. I wonder if they sold out cheap....345 mil for remington, I don't think the Marlin was much more then that. Today I will wear black.....
