    Thumbs up Jim Creek/ Knik

I was out there today 'cause I've been itching to ride the new tires. There were a few people out today. A family of 4 on sport quads, maybe 3-4 hunters/ trappers and of course some shooters. I saw a F250 on the near side of JC. I saw a 4runner on his way back in so I followed his tracks out. It was a blast and the tires worked great. Gonna head back out there after Christmas and try to get a bit further to the glacier. I didn't want to get too far out there today by myself.

I went back towards the glacier about 1/2 of the way. Jim creek was frozen. I crossed it and didn't realize it until I had done so. It was also frozen just up from the target range/ shooting area where the three sand bar/ islands are. I have never been out there during the winter, so I'm not sure if I made it to Friday Creek. From looking at a past trip/ GPS map it looks like I turned around near Friday Creek. I was just following some SUV tracks. It all looked frozen though.

Was that you in the parking lot loading up on Monday? I saw a guy riding a machine just like yours but it looked like it had stock tires. Man, I bet that was you. Leather handgun holster, black powerstroke. I was in the silver chevy with the green rhino in the back.

Grey Chevy with a blue Yamaha Big Bear on a trailer. Will be tailing Big H and a third rider on a new Popo.

The other 299,300,000 people can have it.
