    Default Get a Floscan

We've got a model 5500 in our Wooldridge and a 7500 in our Valdez boat, couldn't imagine boating without them... It's truly amazing how far off the fuel guages are on both vessels.

My meter is right when it says 1/2 full. Otherwise its just a guess. I installed a flo-scan and it is as accurate as you need.

    Default Actual guage sucks...

But I have a smartcraft monitor for my 200 optimax, works very similar to the floscan but has several other things you can monitor as well. If you have a newer Merc it's the way to go.

I also use the flowscan and now I never even look at the fuel gauge.
