    Default Kenai Dipnetting and Camping

We have never done it but I want to take the truck to the "other" side this year and camp out with the kids. Any info other than the not so helpful info located at the adfg site, mainly where... I understand not in the dunes but does anyone have any other helpful info for us?

    Thanks

    Default Southside Kenai dipping

Take K-Beach road to Cannery road and follow the signs...10$ tor 24 hour access plus 10$ for camping...I think you will have no problem seeing where to camp, but I wold recommend not camping on the beach due to sand and potentially high winds...If you have a motorhome and 4-wheeler, the parking lot is available, if you are in a truck, and limited to a tent, I would suggest another campsite, then driving onto the beach for dipping.Just my preference, you might like sand in the sleeping bag....not me

Cool, thanks for the advice. Are campfires allowed on the beach?
