    Default rabbits yesterday

Well I went out yesterday and thought it would be a good day. I could not believe my good spot only produced one rabbit. In a couple of hours I got 2 rabbits and jumped a third that had rocket boosters on so I could not get a shot off. I did notice this time out there were allot of fox tracks where I hunt. It has a hard days hunt, but still worth getting into the woods.

Glad to hear you got a couple. I was planning on going today, but the wind convinced me otherwise. I was out in the wind last weekend, and the hares were nowhere to be found.

Gary, tell me where your secret spot is and I promise to thin out your fox and not touch a single wabbit. See I'm such a nice guy.

Might have to take you up on it. Last time I was out, I shot a rabbit and it started to scream. By the time I go to it there was a fox in the filed looking right over towards us

And were on different work weeks to, added bonus, as not to interfere with your wabbit hunting.

    Default good hare day

got these last week during the crazy winds that were blowing. I can't tell you where, but you can probably guess if you've been here a while.

Yeppers that would help allot. I have seen two snares out there so far this season. I did run into a trapper out there who was looking for fox, martin and other critters.

Looks like Jim and Dan got a good mess of Wabbits there. But I like that avatar better.

Gary I wouldn't trap/snare them, I'm a caller. Matter fact gearing for doing some the next three weeks as I got some vacation a coming.

    Default hunting spot

There doesn't seem to be a shortage of rabbits anywhere this year. If your spot is near the road system and within 100 miles of Anchorage, it probably gets hit daily during this good weather. not too many secrets left out there anymore. I used to walk across Muldoon, hunt all day and see no-one. :/ Now it's all about when and in what weather you can go to avoid the masses. usually weekdays and when it's snowing, blowing, raining.
