Default Have new sled, will travel.

Bought a new sled last week, just in time for the big melt. I am itching bad to get out there, if anyone knows where to go, or is planning a trip themselves and would not mind a noobie tag-along, please let me know. I live in Homer, but will drive wherever in the Anchorage/Petersville area.

I am off this whole week, and sitting at the in-laws house just withering on the vine. If I have to play one more game of Scrabble, I might hurt someone, so help a brother out before it's too late!!

Thanks, and you can reach me at ashumaker04@hotmail.com

    Default New snowmachine

I am in much the same boat as you. Bought a new sled, rode it around the yard a few times, started to get the itch, then the big melt happened. It seems there is some riding in the petersville area, but conditions are marginal at best. I think once there is more snow, there should be more chit-chat on here about where to go.

Had some work to do down south this week. Tompson Pass had about 4 maybe 5 feet. If anyone is looking for the white stuff.
