Default forum input sought on Savage .22

My daughter has outgrown her Marlin YS, but likes to shoot .22 over larger calibers, so I thought the Savage Mark II in syn/stainless might be a good long-term purchase. Any thoughts? And this one has the Accu-trigger.

    Default savage .22

I have a Savage9317 in 17hrm. It shoots like a dream. Love that accu-trigger. I liked it so much I got for my daughter and another for my son on his upcoming birthday. I have never owned a more accurate rimfire. Mine will put 3 rounds into a 1/2" or better at 100 yds if I do my part. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Thumbs up another good rimfire site

Here's another good place for rimfire info. I've heard very good things about the Savage's especially for their lower cost. I grew up with a $100 Wal-Mart special Savage with a 3x9 scope and a critter didn't stand a chance out to 100yds.

I have owned several savage rifles including their 10/22 all have been resonably priced and very accurate.
