    Default New SPOT Satellite Messenger

Any body checked out the new product that is a plb, plus you can send messeges with it? I thought it was just about perfect, but I'm curious if it uses the same satellite network that other PLB's do? How reliable would it be, etc. For those of you more knowlegeable, check it out and let us know. The coverage map show 96-99 percent reliability in most of Alaska. Not sure how that compares to other similar products.
