    Default Outdoor Caucus

Just saw the Channel 2 news. An outdoor caucus has formed in the legislature. Sounds good to me. 24 rep. 1 dem. What's up with that? All of them were white guys too, far as I could tell. Hope they do us outdoorsy folks some good.

The Democratic Party has already sold it's soul to the environmental industry. I don't think that can be denied.

An "Outdoors Caucus" would clearly be pro-hunting, access, fishing, etc group, or the Dems would want in.

NO GOOD will come of this. They know the only way to steer their set course is to be in charge of the ship. Be WARY, VERY WARY.

As I heard it; "the organizers of the Alaska Chapter of SFW lobbied legislators to form this caucus".

would it be understated to say........Must be some well heeled dudes behind SFW AK?

Probably didn't sign on becuase they could see right through the caucaus' ends...which will be largely anti subsistence...

    Default give it a chance

I dont think we should rush to quick judgments about what the caucus will or wont do and what there endstate is until we learn a little bit about it. Hopefully it will be a positive thing for sportsmen. Too often we are quick to judge and dont want to give things a chance.

It doesn't matter what the color is, what matters is what the intention is.
Akres may be right, but give it a chance with guarded optimism.
I also agree with Mark about why only 1 Democrat signed on. Makes you think........
Now just why in the hell do I have to press "1" for English???

...or it could be, simply, a form of recognition that we "hook and bullet" types are an important constituency

    Default SFW - Alaska Chapter

Who is on the Alaska Chapter of SFW? Anyone know? Structure of the Leaders/Board etc?

I've not seen or heard of a single event up here.

Seems the Nat'l Webpage has zero info...but its coming soon (as always)
