I was supposed to head out last Wed and was going to return Today from Montague, but I cancelled due to weather. Drove out this morning to Whittier w/boat in tow to check the line for the day. Got to Bear Valley and is was snowing pretty good, I thought no big deal I can handle a little snow. Got to the other side, BLOWING SNOW, GUSTS to 40 knots, WHITEOUT CONDITIONS....I turned around and went home. There were at least 8 Trucks with empty trailers buried in the snow sitting at the parking lot, sure hope they werent trying to come home today.

Good Luck for those heading out, weather is just to unpredictable for me to venture too far out.

    Default Call me a *****

I won't care. I already put my boat away and had it shrink wrapped. Usually tarp it and then easy to untarp and make a run. But I have learned my lesson and finally wiseing up a bit. Bad reports of deer. Weather not looking very good much this time of year. I am a happy camper being in town. Just not worth it for me. Been there done that. Very cool of ya D-Man to post the weather for the guys.

Smart move! I did not see the Coast Guard cutter in port over here today. The deer just are not worth it.
