    Default Bullets

I have just got started on reloading again after several years. Where is the best /cheapest place in the Valley or Anchorage area to buy bullets. I am mainly loading 45 ACP and will load either jacketed or cast 230 gr. Thanks for your help.

I would suggest you try Boondocks or Sportsman Warehouse. Look for the bulk pack of 500's as they seem to be the cheapest.
    Good luck

Boondocks or sportsmans. Bring a checkbook or cash for boondocks, they dont do debit or credit.

The cold swaged bullets from Speer or Hornady are pretty soft. Not usually an issue at ACP velocities unless you have a rough bore or feed ramp. Then you can get leading or occasional feeding issues. Hard cast will solve the leading and often the feeding problems, but aren't required otherwise. I say all that because I'd shoot whichever you can find cheapest, and only pick one over the other if you have problems.
