The Highway Angler says that Steelhead fishing is fair from Mid October thru early November. I guess its always worth a try being that it is in "early November". GL!

if the anchor is not icebound there are fish between late august and june, with the closure starting the first of the year. Treat em gently... Remember its illegal to remove steelhead from the water on the lower pennisula.
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

looking at the water level, it looks blown out. it is showing over an inch of rain over the last 36 hours and the water level has gone up almost 2.5 feet.

ive always wondered the way about going for bows on the middle, i know that the middle is much shallower, so would you use a bottom rig instead of a sink indicator? i always fish the upper but have been eager to get on the middle for bows, i always go there for reds.
