The wife and I took a drive up to the Matinuska Glacier and a bit beyond today. At mile 117 or so we parked and hiked the old road grade on the north side of the road, just to get out and walk a bit. The brush between the Glen and the old road grade was absolutely loaded with rabbit tracks. There was a good coating of snow up there and I saw lots of tracks (lots by my standards anyways). I was looking down into the brush as we walked along and did not see any rabbits. But I kept thinking if I were walking in the brush and not the road grade, I would have jumped a few. Anywho, thought I'd pass along the info if anyone is out that way and wants to chase rabbits.
