Default So what are you putting in for?

So who among us is gonna get lucky this winter?

I plan on drawing the friday creek sheep permit as there are absolutely no sheep in the area at all because they are all in tok and chugach state park

Alternatively I'd take the CSP northwest permit or the CSP Southwest permit...

Not putting in for goat this year though...

    Anyone else?
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Not likely to share that information here. Less people putting in for the same permits = greater chance of me winning.

Please take your chainsaw, it makes accessing the rivers a little easier with some of the trees down.

Vance - They usually come out mid-January, though it varies from year to year.

Rocky mountain Bighorn- (Area 4) in Wyoming, if not, just trying to build up my preference points. Plan on huntin' the Brooks again this time with a rifle---so no applying for draws this go round...CK

Evidently they sit in trees and sling nuts and feces at the hunters (beneath them), then scramble back to the top of the tree for cover once they have riled up the mentality of the mob below. Anyone experience this first hand?

I can't wait to have it on my wall, I will look at it and calm down before typing anything I may regret later.

I here there is at least a small number of those near juneau and the good news is they fall under the "deleterous exotic" so no bag limit! I have herd there is the "alyeska" ranch south of anchorage where you can hunt them from sweet moving tree stands. Some of the stands even have rifle rests and there are a couple delux stands that are heated, last count it was $65 a day all you can hunt. This should save you on air fare and do the state a favor eliminating dangerous invasive species...

Don't want to be too specific............but for sure I'm only putting in for hunts for species I can eat! Only reason to hunt!
    I can't help being a lazy, dumb, weekend warrior.......I have a JOB!
    I have less friends now!!
