    Default Bows for Long Arms...

Can anyone reccommend a new or almost new brand/model of compound bow for someone with long arms? I currently shoot an old PSE that is ok, but I certainly would like to upgrade. I'm 6'3'' and my wingspan is almost 77'' believe it or not. Right now my bow is set at 31'' draw length. I also use a release so that gives me an inch or so.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, schmidty

I'm 6'4" and have knuckle dragger arms and I shoot a Hoyt Ultratec. Hoyt has several bows that'll get out to the 31" draw length.

The Ross CR337,the Switchback LD, Hoyt Ultratec are all bows that would fit.I would suggest going to Sportsmans,Fletcher's or Backcountry and trying out as many as you can.Everyone is different with fit & feel.

I have the Hoyt 38 Ultra set at 32". I think that is as far as it goes. It is a longer bow though compared to the newer compounds these days.

I was under the impression that a 31 inch draw length isn't too uncommon. Were you having a had time finding one? I know PSE and Diamond both have bows with those lengths. Also Parker, Mathews, and Hoyt, like mentioned above.

No that really wasn't the problem. I was just curious as to what bows people with long draw length use or have experience with. But I know there are a lot of bows out there that don't go to 31 because I have been interested in some of them until I found that out.

Just looking for some info on the bows that do draw that long.

    Thanks, schmidty
