Default Quiet here - Any Dog Pictures

Been quiet on the dog site - Anyone care to post names and pictures of thier dogs? I am a Lab guy and somewhat unfamiliar with some of the other breeds mentioned here and would like to see some pictures of those as well as the labs. Also curious about the names you come up with for the hunting partners.

Being that Im from Arizona we name all our dogs for some place back home so we always think of home. And here we have L-R Ramsey and Catalina.
Now Ramsey is named after Ramsey Canyon for a Canyon where I use to hang out and ride horses as a kid,and Catalina is named for the Catalina Mountains that are near Tucson.

Here's an a exception to the rule. The German Short Haired Pointer is my new addition to the family and my brother ordered her out of South Dakota and gave her to me as my oldest Lab past on.And the GSP was named Dakota since thats where he got her,so I stuck with that name.

And here is Catalina loving on her new friend letting her know shes welcomed in our home.

    Default dan

Dammer you make it tough on an old knothead lab lover like myself. I have had too many labs grow old and pass on. Got another one that is 9, and call me crazy but will likely look for another this spring. Good picts Dan, and quite a handsome son too. That is the best photo of all.

Great Pictures - I usually remember dogs better than people. Here is my crew, Taku, Dulbi, Kateel, & Cosna - for those of you that aren't river buffs those are all names of Alaska rivers we have visited.

    Default maybe so dan

maybe so, you never know. I told myself no pup until next spring, maybe the spring after, but as soon as I did here comes a couple of hot dog, maserati style litters that blow my mind. I'm talkin blown HEMI powered dogs. OOFDAH.
I keep trying to steal back the little chocolate female that we boarded a few weeks back, but the owner is afraid the little girl likes me better already. The owner is right. Smart woman.

Here is my German Wire Haired Pointer Chisana. Like some of you we have always named our dogs with an Alaskan name. She was supposed to be my hunting dog but has turned into the families dog. All in all that has worked out great as she goes everywhere with us and all of us love having her around as she does us. Yes she is way too spoiled (she gets in the sleeping bag with my wife on fall hunts)!

Everyone of you have posted pics of great looking dogs! raven how did you ever get all four labs to swim together? Are you starting a new Olympic event? Synchronized retrieving?

    Thumbs up

Good looking family member there, Bronco.

We also have had local place names for our dogs.

Tatty-Tatoosh Rocks, Cammy-Cammano Point, Betton-Betton Island and an Alaskan name-Chako-for Cheechako.

Thanks kingfisherktn! Like your abbreviation for Cheechako. The kids have a lot of fun helping pic Alaskan names.
