    Default anyone killing any ducks

my transmission has gone out and don't have a boat nor atv. if some one has been shooting, i would like to hunt over my lab who's dying of cancer. she might not have long to live and had a duck fly my way when i was hunting jim lake a little over a week ago she would have retrieved it. i know it would make her feel good. thanks.

Hey man sorry to hear about your dog, that really sucks.
Heck yea this is the best duck hunting of the year.
I never bother with Ducks till after the geese are gone.
Now it's Mallard time (and lots of them), and not those ugly brown ducks.

Yeah, when they don't have any of their colors, it's like shooting flying turds.

that's good to know. dang hearty mallards really can rough it up here in alaska. some stay through the winter. that's awesome. huntin in cold weather from here on out now. the other day my dog couldn't wait to get down the stairs to fetch her ball. from 92 lbs down to 57 and she's running across the snow after it. this dog never ceases to amaze me of her drive to live. she's weak but not washed up. let's see some greenheads you wack.

I killed one teal yesterday, pretty much abismal hunting, must been in the wrong spot or something but nothing looked at our dekes and there were very few birds flying... It was nice to get the first kill with my new gun though boy I'm glad I got it!
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Got six mallards on sunday. Pretty slow shooting, but still fun. I think my count for the season is somewhere around 34 ducks and 2 geese.

Sorry guys, supposed to be lab man.

Got a mossberg 500 12 gauge with synthetic stock, the only problem now is that I'll never be able to blame my poor shooting on the gun anymore

Just use the I had something in my eye excuse. That one always works for me. My bead fell off my shotgun this year, and I told my buddies that if I missed it was due to that. I had to replace it with a piece of grass, so I had something. The funny thing is, I shot better with the piece of grass acting as a bead than the actual bead.
