    Default Fall time run...

here on the Yukon, they go out on the open river, & use a long pole & "fish" the river for eels...

Do you eat them or do you use them as dog food?

What do you use for bait?

I had read they cut a hole through the ice when they are migrating and fork them out.

You try them out and let me know how they are Mark! I am a picky eater and not much into changing my ways.

we have a problem with those in the great lakes and most if not all tributaries have traps to prevent them from infesting other lakes farther inland. I couldn't imagine eating them but it's probably how the English see us with hamsters as pets.

Default Throw them in a cake pan...

& cover them up with aluminium foil & bake them for @ 30 mins...

They go crazy for them here on the Lower Yukon...I'll be a lil' bit more finickey though...

Theres just something nit right about eating a fish that sucks on another fish. Yeah I know not much of a difference between that and eating fish that eat other fish and just about anything else they can get in their mouths!
