    Great stuff Ray! I promised myself I was going to get out more to do scenics. I just have to hold myself to that now!

    September is a great time for such, specially if you can get out of town. I just haven't had the time to drive on the Richardson down to Valdez in September (before the snow). Another problem there is that if the weather is bad you can't see anything, but when the sun is shining and there are nice clouds in the background, the view is spectacular. You won't believe the myriad of colors of the foliage on the hight points along the Richardson, and the Steese. On the Steese you would have to look or hike around Eagle mountain (depending on the weather, of course).
