Default No cigar (no black bear)

Well, I went and no cigar (bear). This is the fifth time I went there to hunt and only the second time I have not seen a bear and have only killed one in five years of trying and that was last year. I saw an elk, mule deer, white tail, fox, coyote, wolf, rabbit, abrams squirrel, bighorn sheep and much more. I saw most everything in Arizona except what I was hunting and had tags for which was a bear and a cougar. Here are some pictures which I will post on a few different post so I can give you a idea of my hunting trip and the wonderful view.

My lovely wife and hunting partner

Here are pictures in this post and the following post that shows the country we hunted.

Nice pic's. At least you enjoyed the outdoors.

Default Cigars Aren't Good For You Anyway!

Looks like success to me just being there together.

Nancy and I had a great time and she is a real tough lady that can hunt and keep camp and she made things fun. It was her first time out west and she was a trooper. I married way above my self but God always looks out for kids and fools. He sure blessed me with a good one. Might be that she is German and really sticks to what ever she is doing until it is finished. She came over from east Germany. Next year I am going to put in for elk tag and if we get one we will be able to hunt elk, bear and cougar at the same time. Might get something. Been five times now and only one bear but that I guess is better than no bear at all.

416WBY Mag using a 350gr TSX moving on average 2930fps point blank 370yds. My 300WBY scope got knock off some how and it was time to begin the hunt and not enough time or opportunity to get it right so I just use my 416WBY that I happen to think to bring with me. Do you think it was enough???
