    Default Browning 300 win mag

I was wondering if anyone has a Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker in the 300 win mag with the 26 inch barrel? If so can you tell me how the gun accuracy is right out of the box and what you think about the gun after owning it?

    Default Brownings

I have or have had 7 Brownings over the years. All of them have been really accurate. The 300 Win I had was a little tight in the chamber when I bought it, but they fixed it with no hassles.

I don't own one, but have loaded for two belonging to friends. Both were incredibly accurate. One of the owners was bothered by the long barrel. He cut it back to 24", then cut it again to 22". Lost way too much velocity in the process for my tastes, but he loves it and it sustained its accuracy through all the whacking.

    Thumbs up

I have a Browning Stainless Stalker in 300 Win. I love this rifle. Out of the box mine will shoot 1/2 inch groups using Rem Corlok 180s. It most other factory ammo at roughly 1 1 inch. But all rifles are different. Hope this helps
