Thumbs up Full disclosure. . .

What with the Cook Inlet Board of Fisheries meeting coming up, I suggesting that the moderators consider mandating full disclosure—name, address, phone number, and e-mail address—before anyone is allowed to post on this forum.

With all due respect, I'm not sure that's such a great idea.

The policy of newspapers and other such media is that the publisher gets such information, but usually only publish name and town.

    Default And

And who is going to go around and check the information to make sure it is correct? I am not going to fly out to Dutch Harbor to physically check someones name and address and see if they are actually there and who they say they are. We also can not require that someone have a phone in their home in order to post.

I am not a detective nor big brother.

    Default Changing the tune

Marcus, I seem to remember having a discussion on a different forum on this site a year or so ago and you were adamant about not disclosing who you were. I guess everyone's allowed to change his mind. . .
