    Default Knight Island Deer

I'm Heading Out To Knight Isle On The 20th For The First Time And Hunting Blacktail For The First Time. Just Looking For A Little Info. To See If Anybody Has Done Any Good There? Maybe Some Patterns Or Habits You Have Seen? At What Elevations Do You Typically Find Deer? Do They Stay Away From Steep Grades And Travel The Path Of Least Resistance? Any Info Would Be Appreciated About The North Half Of The Island. When I Get Back I'll Let You Know What Kind Of Numbers I Saw. Thanks.

the only thing i've seen on knight island are black bears, although i've seen lots of deer tracks. i would recomend hunting at tree line or snow level which ever is highest.
why not head over to montegue isl? will have much better luck.

Some friends and I went out to Knight a couple years ago. There are tons of deer there, but very hard to locate. Depending on the snow level, they will be high (above the tree-line) and if the snow is deeper,it will push them down to the beaches. Be careful of bears, saw lots of them too. Make sure you have good bino's that are bright and clear, the deer are very hard to pick out,but once you know what to look for, you will start to see them everywhere.Good luck.
