    Default New bow shop

First off, mods, if this post is out of line please feel free to delete it. I am just making fellow bowhunters aware of this new bow shop. A good friend of mine, Longbow is opening up a new bow shop in Eagle River and it will be called the Archers Den. He will have a range, bows and a tech shop so you can get work done on your bows. He's looking at trying to open on the 17th of November.

Sweet thats minutes from my door. I've been looking at getting back into bowhunting for a while and now is the time to start. Keep us posted on this.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

    Thumbs up Good deal!!!

A closer shop to the house and opening about the time I get back from the left armpit of the world. Any idea what bow brands he'll carry? I'm a Hoyt guy. Hope the shop works out, may bring a lot of folks into the fold being closer to Ft Rich and all without the drive into Anch. See ya'll there.

    Default No problem

I don't moderate the archery but I have no problem with the post. I am always trying to find new shops to help feed my addiction. If someone can open a new shop, and succeed, Best of Luck to Them!

    Default location?

Where's it located in Eagle River? Hope it last longer than the last one. I believe the rent situation is to blame for the last three shops in E.R. Just to dare expensive to operate. I knew the owners of the last three shops and all pretty much closed due to high rent.

    Default new shop

The shop will be in the same building on the opposite end from the ER library. At this point I am pretty sure that he will not be handling Hoyt or Mathews but will most likely have Kodiak, and possibly Bowtech or PSE. Should open in mid November.

I think he could be talked into carrying some traditional stuff. I also talked with him about carrying some muzzleloading gear as well but I don't know if his shop can handle the inventory.

I hope it lasts longer than the other shops in ER! I'll do my part next summer.

I'd also be interested in the traditional gear... if that's any encouragement.

there's enough following to do it, if you carry the right gear! Carry the typical junk most people have, and you wont sell!

Nope, it's not out of place at all. It's great to know about a new business in the area.

Thanks Brian, I think down the road, once he's established, he may want to advertise on this site.......but don't hold me to that!

    Default I'll be there

I like the idea of "Instruction" and seminars mentioned on his page. I'd love to see a seminar on bow tuning.

I just bought a new Bowtech, but am still in the need of accessories and am looking forward to his grand opening.
