Red face Winter Kings out of Whittier?

Has anyone had any luck fishing for "winter" Kings out of Whittier? I have heard of people going after them, but no reliable stories of anyone hooking up in the winter months. thanks all

    Default No luck with Kings

Have tried in the Summer with no luck, Ive heard theyre there, but have to fish them deeper than the others. If there there, I might try wetting a line this winter.

Thanks AH, I'll try downriggers starting at 80 ft to see if I can get a hit there or deeper. If I get any results, I'll post them. Good Luck

I caught one this past summer. A yellow kind of meat. Tasted pretty good too.
