The Anchorage Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet on October 4th at 6:30 pm at the Alaska Moose Federation to hold an organizational meeting, prepare comments for the Lower Cook Inlet Board of Fisheries proposals, prepare comments for the Western/Arctic region Board of Game proposals, draft proposals for the statewide cycle “B” and interior regions, and discuss GMU 20 cow moose hunts. The Homer Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet at 6PM Tues., October 9th at the Research Reserve Annex across from Homer Air on Kachemak Drive . Lower Cook Inlet fisheries and statewide game proposals will be discussed. For more information call Marv at 235-2468 or 235-8612.
The Seward Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet October 10th in the upstairs conference room at City Hall in Seward. The meeting will begin at 7pm, Fish proposals for the upcoming BOF meeting and other subjects of interest are on the agenda. For info call Jim McCracken @ 362 3701.
The Kenai/Soldotna Fish & Game Advisory committee will meet on October 10th at 6:30 pm at Kenai Peninsula College , Room 158. Staff will give an over view on the 2007 fishing season. The Whittier Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet October 13th at 1:00 p.m. at the Anchor Inn to hold elections for four 2 year (12/06 term expirations), three 3 year (12/07 term expirations) and one 1 year alternate seat, select a sub-committee to draft PWS finfish / Statewide Miscellaneous Shellfish (except SE / Yakutat) proposals for the Board of Fisheries (due April 10, 2008), and any other business that may come before the committee. The Seldovia Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet October 15th at 7 pm at the Seldovia Multi-purpose room (library) to hold elections, prepare comments for the Lower Cook Inlet Board of Fisheries meeting, and draft proposals for the Statewide Board of Game.
