Enjoyed the vid. Was that a frontal shot? In the vid it looks like an arrow sticking out of his neck. Worked for ya. Looked like a real pretty spot. Congrats.

Wow, tough crow 100 views and one comment.

The first shot was with the animal quartering twords me and was hit just behind front shoulder slightly lower than I wanted. Both arrows passed cleanly through. Thanks for the congrats I'm pretty excited about it.

Well done! Got my first bow kill on a spot and stalk black bear hunt, too. Partner caught in on video. Pretty awesome! I am hooked! Friends with Dean? Met him up at his cabin in 16b while he was guiding spring bears. Stand up guy! Next step is a brown furry one!

First shot was at 30yrds, second was a lot longer than I would have liked at aprox 55yrds but managed to make it count as it did the damage.

Not sure how I managed to shoot low the first time.

    Default well done

Great shot though brief of the bears head just before the shot. I kept hearing some loud rythmic noise. Any chance that was your heart beating like the rotor blades on a chopper?
In hindsight do you think the second shot was necessary? Like you, if I had the chance for insurance I would take it.
I sure do get excited watching other folks have fun. Thanks for taking the time to get the video so we could watch it.

Man that is sure a rush... Could you of imagined if the bear came at you guys after the shot? Just one question. If that did happen who would of been the faster runner?

    Default 1st rule

Gray, I never, ever hunt with anybody faster than me. Don't know about you guys, but I like a slow steady dependable partner. After the fur has flown I'll come back to help
